HFPRx provides households with children who are 3-17 years old and have any Louisiana Medicaid health plan (Aetna Better Health, AmeriHealth Caritas, Healthy Blue, Humana Healthy Horizons, Louisiana Healthcare Connections or United Healthcare) with $40/month for 6 months to buy fresh fruits and vegetables at participating grocery stores and farmers markets. Eligible families must live in, or the children’s doctor must be located in the following parishes: Acadia, Lafayette or St. Landry. The program is now closed to families in St. Helena, Tangipahoa, and Washington parishes.
