The West Calcasieu Cameron Hospital (WCCH) Diabetes Education Program is available to those recently diagnosed with diabetes, those who have had the disease for years, as well as pregnant women diagnosed with gestational diabetes. The program is accredited through the American Diabetes Association and is staffed with a certified diabetes educator. It provides patients with a wealth of information, practical tips, and a plan for successful lifestyle management. Both group and individual sessions are available.
