The Food Bank of Northeast Louisiana seeks to battle hunger and increase the wellness of our community by securing food and providing it to partner agencies that feed the hungry; fostering public awareness; and managing direct distribution programs.

There is more than enough food in America to feed every man, woman and child, yet here in Northeast Louisiana, over 73,000 people struggle with hunger.  The Food Bank of Northeast Louisiana procures, sorts, inventories and provides food to our partner agencies for distribution into their communities.  In addition, the Food Bank operates three programs that directly provides food to those most vulnerable – our children and seniors.  Together, as a hunger-relief network we serve over 43,000 people annually.

As a member of the Feeding America network of Food Banks, the Food Bank of Northeast Louisiana is leading the fight against hunger in our community.  We are one of five Food Banks in Louisiana and we serve the following 12 parish region:  Caldwell; East Carroll; Franklin; Jackson; Lincoln; Madison; Morehouse; Ouachita; Richland; Tenses; Union; and West Carroll.
