Congratulations to Well-Ahead Louisiana’s State Office of Rural Health Manager Denaé Hebert, who is now a Certified Rural Health Clinic Professional! Hebert completed nearly 20 hours of course work through the National Association of Rural Health Clinics (NARHC) and passed a proctored exam in order to obtain certification.
NARHC’s Certified Rural Health Clinic Professional Course educates participants on the operations, rules and regulations to manage a successful rural health clinic. Certification provides individuals a great foundation and broad scope of knowledge about Rural Health Clinics.
“Working with Rural Health Clinics on a daily basis, I felt it was important to expand my knowledge of the administrative, financial, and regulatory requirements of the clinics,” said Hebert. “This course has helped me to gain a better understanding of RHC operations and best practices and how we at Well-Ahead can better support them and connect them to meaningful resources.”
The Well-Ahead Louisiana State Office of Rural Health (SORH) integrates population health strategies within rural communities, supports the development and sustainability of rural care facilities, and advances access to care through innovation. Almost half of Louisiana is rural, and Well-Ahead provides support to address rural communities’ unique healthcare needs.
