Well-Ahead Louisiana 2nd Public Health and Community Wellness Fair, Featuring: Youth Health Exposition

The Louisiana Department of Health will hold its second Well-Ahead Louisiana Public Health and Community Wellness Fair on Saturday, March 22, 2025, from 9 a.m. to Noon at the F.G. Clark Activity Center (on the campus of Southern University Baton Rouge).
Well-Ahead Louisiana, which is part of the LDH Office of Public Health, organized the fair in partnership with the Southern University System Foundation. The fair will promote community access to health resources, promote wellness and chronic disease prevention. This event will feature a Youth Exposition to help inspire kids to pursue medical and public health careers. Services offered at the health and wellness fair include health screenings, nutrition education, medical simulations, chronic disease prevention and self-care management, tobacco use prevention, stress management, healthy food demonstrations, rural health resources, healthy aging information, health education, and much, more.
This is a no-cost event. The only admission request is a non-perishable canned food-item.
Vendors
Vendors are invited to participate in the health fair and share information about your organization/agency with community members.
We are asking that vendors provide resourceful information and to refrain from any sale-transactions. It is our hope that your organization can participate in this empowering event.
