Cajun Area Agency on Aging, Inc., a non-profit corporation, exists to identify the needs of older persons and to coordinate agreements for the delivery of services. The agency administers federal and state dollars through contractual agreements with service providers in an eight parish planning and service area. The area agency’s primary purpose is to develop systems designed to assist persons 60 and older in leading independent lives in their own homes and communities as long as possible.
