The Lafitte Greenway route has a rich history of over 200 years as a transit route and integral part of the water infrastructure for the City of New Orleans. Friends of Lafitte Greenway’s Walking Workshops are 2-mile guided walks that introduce the community and visitors to the Lafitte Greenway, get people outside & moving, and highlight historical buildings, cultural sites, and innovative environmental and stormwater management efforts of the Greenway. Location: Various locations on the Lafitte Greenway, New Orleans.
