The Livonia Community Health Center offers diabetes management and nutritional counseling with a registered dietitian and nurse practitioner. Nutrition plans are created to meet personal weight goals, as well as accommodate any needs related to medical conditions. Interested participants must be screened by the health center before they are able to receive services. Services may be covered by insurance plans such as Medicare, Medicaid, private insurance and on a sliding fee scale for those without insurance.
