Our Lady of the Angels Diabetes Education Program is accredited by the American Diabetes Association. The program is designed to help you gain control of your diabetes through education, nutrition and exercise. Whether you are newly diagnosed or have had diabetes for years, our team of certified diabetic educators, registered nurses and registered dieticians can provide the education and support you need to thrive with the disorder.
The program is recommended for all persons with Type 1, Type 2, Gestational Diabetes or Impaired Glucose Tolerance to help control diabetes and prevent complications. Physician referral is required for enrollment. In most cases, insurance will assist with the cost of the program. Co-pays and deductibles may apply.
