The East Feliciana Parish Health Unit offers free breastfeeding education and support to women before and after pregnancy. Clients will be given education on nutrition and breastfeeding for during pregnancy and post-partum. Clients who qualify for the WIC program will receive these services for free. All others will pay according to a sliding fee scale. Private insurance is also accepted.
As soon as pregnancy is determined, call the health unit to make an appointment!
