Southeast Community Health Systems offers nutrition education and counseling services to help clients implement and maintain healthy eating practices. The program assists clients with creating a plan for healthy eating and physical activity that is achievable. Nutrition classes provide the opportunity for children and adults to learn the importance of healthy eating habits and the growth and development potential that is associated with these habits.
SCHS also offers nutrition education to pregnant women with the goal of increasing the likelihood of positive pregnancy outcomes.
