Teche Action Clinic brings a wide range of healthcare services to surrounding communities through a mobile screenings and health services unit. Essentially a medical clinic on wheels, the mobile unit includes a small laboratory and is staffed by physicians, nurses and other medical professionals.
The mobile unit regularly visits area schools to provide primary healthcare services as well as various health screenings. In addition, the mobile unit travels to various rural areas to bring quality care to those individuals who are unable to drive to the city for medical care.
It is Teche’s way of helping to ensure that everyone in local communities has access to the quality healthcare services they need and deserve.
