Teche Action Clinic offers families assistance in providing their children with proper nutrition. Registered dietitians provide pregnant women and new mothers with education and helpful information regarding proper nutrition, breastfeeding, immunizations and other issues that affect the health of their children.
In addition, Teche Action Clinic can also help individuals enroll in the WIC program (special supplemental nutrition program for women, infants and children). The Teche Action Clinic dietitians are knowledgeable in all aspects of the WIC program and can help determine an individual’s eligibility for the program.
