Volunteers of America’s behavioral health clinicians provide outpatient services at home and community-based settings for adults and youth. Our professional and experienced staff of psychiatrists, social workers, and counselors provide outpatient services at both home and community based settings. Our services include:
- Independent living training
- Illness medication training
- Medication therapy
- Counseling
- Crisis management and support
Our client-centered, coordinated care approach to behavioral health:
- Optimizes wellness
- Maintains a strong link with community agencies
- Connects clients to trusted local resources
- Facilitates timely access to primary care, specialty care, medications and supportive housing
- Allows clients to live independently and choose where they’d like to receive their therapy: at home or at our day program, Vision of Hope.
