Just the mention of the Farmer’s Market can bring to mind throughts of plump juicy tomatoes, fresh okra, watermelon, home cooked peas and piping hot cornbread. But the Farmer’s Market provides so much more than garden fresh vegetables. You never know what surprises might await you at the Market. Vendors from all over gather with wonders like jellies, goat cheeses, plants and herbs, honey, or other goodies that are “here today and gone tomorrow.”
Need help with your own garden? Master gardeners can often be found in the Farmer’s Market community garden. Or if you have an abundance of peas or pecans you’ll want to take advantage of the shelling services offered by the Market.
The market is open Monday through Saturday 7:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. Seasonal hours may apply.
