The Willis-Knighton Outpatient Diabetes Education Program has been recognized by the American Diabetes Association for Quality Self-Management Education. We are proud of this commitment to quality, a reflection of our 25 years of supporting patient needs. Our staff of knowledgeable health professionals provides you with a comprehensive, personalized education plan. Our nurses and dietitians are Certified Diabetes Educators who will work with you using the most current methods of treating diabetes to tailor a program that fits your specific needs. Our program is designed to help individuals manage their diabetes by providing education and ongoing support. We will cover topics such as meal planning, exercise and activity, diabetes medications and how they work, healthy coping and reducing your risk of complications.
