Hosted by Women’s & Children’s Hospital in Lafayette, this class gives the expectant mother an overview of breastfeeding. The class covers many topics, such as nursing for the first time, appropriate techniques, anatomy/physiology and prevention of breastfeeding problems. Attendance is encouraged prior to delivery. Fathers or significant others are welcome. Classes are offered on various Monday and Wednesday evenings.
