Join the Louisiana Diabetes Educators Network Prevents Type 2 Diabetes
LaDEN Prevents is a group comprised of certified lifestyle coaches that deliver a CDC-Recognized National Diabetes Prevention Program (National DPP). We provide advanced training and development to program coordinators and lifestyle coaches through in-person trainings, webinars and peer dialogue sessions to showcase National DPP experts and explore program best practices. LaDEN Prevents’s goal is to enhance the delivery of the Lifestyle Change Program with fidelity to the CDC-recognized National DPP.
We also have opportunities available to become a certified lifestyle coach as well as individual technical assistance for existing National DPP or organizations interested in starting a program.
Facilitated webinars and peer dialogue sessions put your coaches and program needs at the center focus, with high audience interactivity and sharing National DPP best practices in our state.

Learn About the Lifestyle Coach ECHO!
Beginning on January 12, 2022, Well-Ahead will host Lifestyle Coach ECHO sessions. For this Lifestyle Coach ECHO, Well-Ahead Louisiana has partnered with Diabetes Training and Technical Assistance Center (DTTAC) at Emory University to serve as the “hub” of specialists. Sessions will be held from 1 to 2:30 p.m. CST on the second Wednesday of each month.
