Louisiana Diabetes Educators Network Prevents Type 2 Diabetes

LaDEN Prevents is a group comprised of trained lifestyle coaches that deliver a CDC-Recognized National Diabetes Prevention Program (National DPP). We provide advanced training and development to program coordinators and lifestyle coaches through trainings, webinars and peer dialogue sessions to showcase National DPP experts and explore program best practices. LaDEN Prevents’s goal is to enhance the delivery of the Lifestyle Change Program with fidelity to the CDC-recognized National DPP.

We also have opportunities available to become a trained lifestyle coach as well as individual technical assistance for existing National DPP or organizations interested in starting a program.

NEW! Beginning early 2024, LaDEN Prevents will host quarterly calls for trained lifestyle coaches and National DPP program coordinators.  Please share with any Louisiana based lifestyle coaches and program coordinators that may be interested.  Our facilitated webinars and peer dialogue sessions put your coaches and program needs at the center focus, with high audience interactivity and sharing National DPP best practices in our state.  Topics discussed during sessions may include, but are not limited to:
