Tell Your Organization
Everyone on your team should know that your organization is now a WellSpot! Show them the benchmarks you’ve met, and let them know you care about their health both on and off the clock. These tools will help explain what your WellSpot designation means to your employees and encourage them to take advantage of the healthy changes.
Letter, Email, or Memo Template
This announcement can be shared through email, as a company-wide memo or even mailed to employees. Use this template to personalize the announcement for your WellSpot by placing it on your letterhead and changing the highlighted text to fit your organization. Let your team members know about the benchmarks you’ve chosen to implement to make their workplace healthier, how they can take advantage of the changes and how they can create a healthier work environment.
Certificate of Recognition
You should have received a Certificate of Recognition from the Louisiana Department of Health in your welcome packet, which recognizes your efforts to become a WellSpot. By proudly displaying it in a prominent area, you’re reminding employees and community residents you serve that you are helping to move Louisiana’s health forward.

Indoor Workplace Signage
Use these signs around your workplace to remind employees of the advantages of being a WellSpot. These signs are 8.5″ x 11″ and easy to print, so use as many or as few as you’d like to share with your team and visitors that they are in a WellSpot.

Press Release Template
A press release is an official way to deliver information and announcements to members of the news media. Personalize this template with your agency’s information, showing the steps you’ve taken to become a WellSpot. Include a quote from one of your leaders if you’d like. Once the release is finished, email it to a health reporter, community news editor or city editor at your local newspaper. Take the time to email the reporter or editor by name. You can find most local newspapers and their websites listed as members of the Louisiana Press Association (LPA). If you don’t see your local paper in the LPA list, a simple Google search should help you find the contact information.
Outdoor Workplace Signage
The eye-catching “We’re a WellSpot” sign and window decal (Level 1, Level 2, Level 3) invite people who enter your building(s) to ask what it means to be a WellSpot, giving your employees an opportunity to share about the steps you’ve taken to provide a healthier environment.
